Hawks:

The info is in for our fall baseball middleschool and jv/varsity team.  We will begin practices/tryouts next Friday, August 13th, at 3:30 at Wilder's Grove.  For August, practices will be on Mondays and Fridays at 3:30.  We'll have to adjust the days in Sept. and Oct. based on our weekly games and Hawks basketball schedule.

There will be 10 games and a playoff, starting the first week after Labor Day and ending the last week of October.  Games will either be on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursdays at 6:00 and/or 8:00 p.m. and/or on Saturdays in the mornings.  Most times we will play two games per week.  In most cases, the middleschool team will play before the varsity team.  Continuous batting order will be followed at both levels.  Games will be played in Garner, Fuquay, and maybe Wilder's Grove.

If you are going to be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade this fall (or are still 14 on Oct. 16, 2010, you are eligible for the middleschool team.  You must be a senior or younger to be eligible for the varsity team.  Middleschool players who are qualified may also play for the varsity team.

The costs will be $225 per player and $150 for the second child.  You may pay in three installments (August, September and October).

I need to know who is going to play by this Friday.  I am going to open it up to public tryouts if we don't have enough players sign up.
