Here's the hotel information for Greensboro. We have the La Quinta Inn
for $67 per night on Thursday, May 13, and Friday, May 14. Our first
game begins on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Our last game begins on Saturday,
May 15, at 3:00 p.m.
Call for reservations and mention the Hawks. You must book your room by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10.
We have stayed here for the past 7 years for basketball and the
breakfast is a bit fancier than the one in Orlando. It also has an
outdoor pool.

NC Varsity Homeschool State Baseball Championship

Below is the state tourney information for the varsity. It is a five
team round robin with Wake, Charlotte, Forsyth, Asheville and us. These are
the corrected dates. The tournament is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,
May 13-15. It has been scheduled as a round robin. Each team plays
four games and the team with the best record is the state champion,
etc. It's a bit anti-climatic compared to the to the double
elimination format of last year, but I am not on the committee that
decides these things.
We have games on Thur. May 13, 4:00 p.m., Fri. May, 14, 9:00 a.m and
6:00 p.m., and Sat., May 15, 3:00 p.m. We plan to arrive at the
Leonard Recreation Center by 2:30 on Thursday. We will then go to the
hotel after the game at around 6:00.
The cost is $30 per varsity player, $15 for selected middleschool
players. Make payments to the Christian Community by Wednesday, May 12.
