Hawks:
Here is a brief itinerary of the Homeschool World Series. We have to
be at the opening ceremonies on Monday, April 26, 8:00 a.m. and will
have a final of 5-7 games on Saturday, May 1. We would leave on Sunday
, April 25 around 8:00 a.m. and arrive at the hotel around 6:00 p.m.
We would like everyone to stay at the same hotel, if possible. If the
game for that day is not too early, we usually have a team meeting and
devotionals at the hotel before each game. A daily Itinerrary will
follow once we know our tournament seeding. We will have Wednesday off
with probably a team outing to the Gulf of Mexico (about 60 miles), but
some may opt for a local theme park.
Team Hotel:
We have rooms reserved arriving Sunday, April 25 and departing Sat..May
1, at the La Quinta in Lakeland, Fla. (about 16 miles from the ball
park), for $45 per night
(total for the six nights with tax is $303). You will also have an
option to stay one more night at the same rate (should we get a late
Sat. game). Rate includes continental breakfast with belgian waffles.
Call by March 13 to make reservations. Say you are with the Raleigh Hawks. Make sure you get the $45 per night rate.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons
all our iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life
from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who
satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed
like the eagle. -Psalm 103:1-5
