Hawks:
Our first official Hawks practice is this Friday, Oct 2, at the
Seminary, 1:00 to 3:00 for all teams. We will adjust the length of
practices as the team numbers grow.
As of now, below is the list of those committed to play. We do not
have enough for three full teams, but we still have a month and week to
register the club for the NCHE. So we'll continue getting the word out
for additional players (especially for jv). Those who are listed as
two possible teams, will be evaluated through Nov. 10 in regards to the
final team roster along with any new players who may join the team.
Also, I need to know Friday from those listed as varsity if they are
able and willing to attend the NCHE tournament on Nov. 6 & 7th in
Greensboro. The cost will be $40 per player to attend. Right now
there are only two teams out of state (Upstate and Hurricanes) that are
entered. Durham, Wake and Alamance are entered from the East and
Surrey, Davidson, Forsyth and Greensboro from the West. Our first game
would probably be between 11:00 and 3:00 on Friday. Our other option
is to play Westchester Day on Friday at 3:30 in High Point (see
schedule here).
If you haven't done so, please bring registration and payment to practice on Friday.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons
all our iniquities; Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life
from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who
satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed
like the eagle. -Psalm 103:1-5
