Hawks: No practice Wednesday--not enough committed.  I am looking at Friday, noon to 2:00 at the seminary.  We would eat afterwords and head to Garner for afternoon ms and jv games.  Again, let me know if you CAN make it.

Also, Saturday's game against Lighthouse is at 10:30 a.m. (not P.M).  That was a bit crazy.

Virginia Tournament Info

Hawks:  The tournament is a little different this year. Middleschool starts on Tuesday evening, Mar. 16, and ends Thursday, Mar. 18, and Varsity starts on Thursday morning, Mar. 18, and ends Saturday, Mar. 20.  So here is the breakdown:

Entry Fee:  $100 per player, $85 for second child.  Due Feb 15.
Hotel: Days Inn (see below), $74.95 per night (add about $10 tax) per family.  Includes breakfast up to 5.  Book and pay individually by Feb. 15.  Middleschoolers can stay Tuesday and Wednesday and return Thursday.  Varsity should stay Wed,  Thur, Fri and return Saturday.

Individual players:  Split room costs by number in room (up to 5), pay by Monday, March, 15.  Let me know by Feb. 15 if you wish to room with team players and/or need transportation.

Travel Plans:  Middleschool team and family leave Tuesday morning, Mar. 16, at 11:00 a.m.  Arrive at Days INN at 3:00 p.m. for check in.  Families without varsity players check out Thur. a.m.

Varsity leaves Wednesday, Mar. 17, noon.  Arrive at Days in at 4:00 p.m. for check in.  Check out Sat.

Fees Breakdown for Feb & Mar

Feb. 5.  Team Monthly Fees.  Also, any back fees not paid in January should be paid at this time.

Feb. 15.   $35 Regional Tournament Fee (varsity only)
Feb. 15   $100 Virginia tournament fee.
Feb. 15   Book family rooms or request to stay with team.
Feb.  22   $15 State Tournament Fee (varsity only, if necessary)

March 1.  $50 practice fee due ($35 second child).  Fees waived for those paying March baseball fees.

March 15.  Hotel fees due for players staying in team rooms.
