1st Varsity TSA Water Polo Championship
Congratulations guys for a great month of Water Polo and being the first champs. Full video of the championship game is here.
Although
the tournament wasn't officially sanctioned by the TSA, 4 TSA teams
participated in the league (Springdale Aquabears, Heritage Betas, Raleigh Seahawks, TAC Torpedoes). We have high hopes the league will continue
to grow and become sanctioned.

Water
Polo Requirements:
This
is our fourth year to offer a co-ed water polo league on Thursdays from
1:30 to 3:00 for ages 11 & up. Swimmer must be able to complete the
200 yard individual medley without disqualification, swim 10 x 50
freestyle on the :60, and be able to tread water with hands up for 3
minutes. You do not need to participate on the swim team to play in the
water polo league.
Our
season begins Thursday, June 10, 2009 and runs through Wednesday, July 29. 2010.
You
do not need to participate on the swim team to play in the water polo

Location:
Tryouts and practices are held at the new Triangle
Aquatic Center (TAC)
275 Convention Drive
in Cary, adjacent to the Sears’ parking lot at the
Cary Towne Center mall.
Tryouts: Tryouts are mandatory
for any new swimmers and are done at the beginning of the first
practice the swimmer attends. Your prepayment will be refunded if your
child does not qualify for the program.
